In Friday's league outing, the Pleasant Grove Spartans (Pleasant Grove, AL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Fairfield Tigers (Fairfield, AL), by a margin of 66-32.

The Tigers now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Wenonah for a 5A Area 9 outing on Tuesday, January 9. Fairfield will clash with a Dragons squad coming off a 52-49 league win over John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL). The Dragons record now stands at 18-6.
