In their next game, the Raiders face the Woodland Bobcats (Woodland, AL) in a 2A Area 9 game, on Tuesday, January 9. Pleasant Valley will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Bobcats enter the game with a 4-6 record after their 46-32 non-league loss to Randolph County (Wedowee, AL).

With the defeat, Faith Christian moves to 2-12 on the year. The Lions host Wadley (Wadley, AL) to face the Bulldogs in a 1A Area 8 game on Tuesday, January 9. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 4-7. Wadley won 47-16 in their recent league game against Alabama School for the Deaf (Talladega, AL)
