Texas High School Basketball - Farwell overwhelms Panhandle

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Farwell Steers (Farwell, TX) and the visiting Panhandle Panthers (Panhandle, TX), saw Farwell's basketball squad wallop Panhandle by a tally of 52-31.
With the victory, Farwell improves its record to 20-3 on the campaign. The Steers travel to Bovina (Bovina, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 2A Region I District 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Bovina won 37-30 in their recent league challenge against Highland Park (Amarillo, TX)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Boys Ranch Roughriders (Boys Ranch, TX) in a 2A Region I District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Panhandle will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Roughriders come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 59-49 league loss to Vega (Vega, TX).
