The Halifax Academy Vikings basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Fayetteville Academy Eagles to 30 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kerr-Vance Academy for a NCISAA Carolina Independent contest on Tuesday, January 9.

The Eagles (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against St. David's (Raleigh, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, St. David's nudged Wake Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC), 60-27, in a league contest.
