Sterling Heights Stallions (Sterling Heights, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Fitzgerald Spartans (Warren, MI), 57-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sterling Heights upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Stallions travel to Lamphere (Madison Heights, MI) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Lamphere won 42-35 in their recent league bout against Warren Woods-Tower (Warren, MI)

Next up, the Spartans play the Mott Marauders (Warren, MI) in a Macomb Area - Silver bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Fitzgerald will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
