With the victory, Fort Defiance upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Indians host Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA) to play the Little Giants in a Shenandoah game on Tuesday, January 9. The Little Giants enter the game with a record of 1-10. Waynesboro lost 57-42 in their recent league game against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA)

With the defeat, Riverheads moves to 2-10 on the year. The Gladiators host Bath County (Hot Springs, VA) to face the Chargers in a non-league game on Monday, January 8. The Chargers enter the game with a record of 0-1.
