The Greenwood Rangers (Midland, TX) basketball knocked off the host Fort Stockton Panthers (Fort Stockton, TX), 36-28 in Friday's league test.

The Rangers (7-18) will now prepare for their test against Monahans (Monahans, TX). The Loboes go into the 4A Region I District 3 test with a 2-17 record. In their last test, Monahans went down by Andrews (Andrews, TX), 24-19, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 11-10 record. They play next when they travel to Pecos for a 4A Region I District 3 test on Tuesday, January 9. Fort Stockton will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 87-16 league loss to Seminole (Seminole, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 4-10.
