The Westmoreland Eagles (Montross, VA) basketball crushed the host Franklin Broncos (Franklin, VA), 54-8 in Friday's non-league test.

The Eagles (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA). The Drifters go into the Northern Neck test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Colonial Beach was trounced by Chopticon (Morganza, MD), 52-21, in a non-league test.

The Broncos now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Thomas Jefferson for a non-league test on Saturday, January 6. Franklin will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 51-7 league loss to Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-8.
