The (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Pride go into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Pine Lake Prep was tipped by Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC), 61-27, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Northside Christian Academy for a NCISAA Metrolina test on Friday, January 12. Gaston Christian will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 40-37 non-league win over Tournament Opponent (, ). The Knights record now stands at 10-7.
