The Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines basketball team (Athens, GA), was nudged 39-38 in Friday's non-league battle with the host George Walton Academy Bulldogs (Monroe, GA)
The Bulldogs now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piedmont Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 6. George Walton Academy will battle a Cougars team coming off a 62-49 non-league loss to Westfield School (Perry, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-5.
The Wolverines (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Banks County (Homer, GA). The Leopards come into the non-league battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Banks County edged Fellowship Christian (Roswell, GA), 67-36, in a league battle.
