The Gorman Panthers basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Huckabay Indians to 32 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 22-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Strawn for a 1A Region III District 19 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Gorman will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 53-16 league win over Bluff Dale (Bluff Dale, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 4-9.

The Indians (18-8) will now prepare for their contest against Gordon (Gordon, TX). The Longhorns come into the 1A Region III District 19 contest with a 17-8 record. In their last contest, Gordon prevailed over Lingleville (Lingleville, TX), 62-18, in a league contest.
