Throckmorton Greyhounds (Throckmorton, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Graford Rabbits (Graford, TX), 47-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Throckmorton upgrades its record to 19-2 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Woodson (Woodson, TX) to play the Cowboys in a 1A Region III District 21 bout on Friday, January 12. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 0-8.

Next up, the Rabbits play the Bryson Cowboys (Bryson, TX) in a 1A Region III District 21 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Graford will attempt to upgrade on its 19-5 season record.
