The Round Lake Panthers basketball team (Round Lake, IL), was nudged 29-23 in Friday's league battle with the host Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL)
The Bulldogs now possess a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakes for a Northern Lake County battle on Tuesday, January 9. Grant Community will battle a Eagles team coming off a 50-28 league win over Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 7-10.
The Panthers (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Antioch (Antioch, IL). The Sequoits come into the Northern Lake County battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, Antioch edged Plano (Plano, IL), 36-29, in a non-league battle.
