Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Gunn Titans (Palo Alto, CA), 43-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Milpitas upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Trojans travel to North Salinas (Salinas, CA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 1-9. North Salinas lost 68-33 in their recent league bout against Alisal (Salinas, CA)

Next up, the Titans clash with the Basis Independent Silicon Valley Bobcats (San Jose, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Gunn will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 58-11 non-league loss to Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit (San Jose, CA).
