North Carolina High School Basketball - Mallard Creek overwhelms Harding University

January 5, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28208

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC) and the host Harding University Rams (Charlotte, NC), saw Mallard Creek's basketball squad wallop Harding University by a tally of 97-5.

With the victory, Mallard Creek improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Hough (Cornelius, NC) to confront the Huskies in a 3A/4A Queen City challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Hough won 70-28 in their recent league challenge against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Rams confront the West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a 3A/4A Queen City challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Harding University will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 5-8 record after their 70-28 league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC).
