Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders (Harrells, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans (Henderson, NC), 40-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Harrells Christian Academy upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Southeastern Christian Academy (Shallotte, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Southeastern Christian Academy lost 45-40 in their recent non-league bout against Conway Christian (Conway, SC)

Next up, the Spartans play the Bradford Academy Archers (Mebane, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Kerr-Vance Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Archers come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 81-11 league loss to Cresset Christian Academy (Durham, NC).
