The Horizon Christian basketball team (Hood River, OR), was overwhelmed 70-16 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Trout Lake Mustangs (Trout Lake, WA)

The Mustangs now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Clackamas Christian for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 6. Trout Lake will confront a Saints team coming off a 38-27 league win over Southwest Christian (Beaverton, OR). The Saints record now stands at 8-2.

The (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against South Wasco County (Maupin, OR). The Redsides come into the 1A Big Sky battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, South Wasco County trounced Dufur (Dufur, OR), 67-39, in a league battle.
