Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Irondale Knights (New Brighton, MN), 65-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Stillwater upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Ponies host Woodbury (Woodbury, MN) to clash with the Royals in a AAAA Section 4 bout on Saturday, January 6. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 5-7.

Next up, the Knights clash with the White Bear Lake Bears (White Bear Lake, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Irondale will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 74-55 non-league win over Mounds View (Arden Hills, MN).
