Kansas High School Basketball - Valley Falls knocked off by Jefferson County North

The Jefferson County North Chargers basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Valley Falls Dragons to 39 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Atchison County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Jefferson County North will meet a Tigers team coming off a 44-43 non-league win over Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 3-5.

The Dragons (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasant Ridge (Easton, KS). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record.
