In Friday's league outing, the South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC) basketball squad felled the host J.F. Webb Warriors (Oxford, NC), by a margin of 46-30.

The Vikings (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Carrboro (Carrboro, NC). The Jaguars go into the 2A/3A Northern Lakes outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Carrboro was beaten by Vance County (Henderson, NC), 48-41, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Southern Durham for a 2A/3A Northern Lakes outing on Tuesday, January 9. J.F. Webb will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 79-26 league win over Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 7-4.
