The Philadelphia Tornadoes basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host J.Z. George Jaguars to 36 in the Tornadoes league victory on Friday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sebastopol for a 2A Region 4 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Philadelphia will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 39-19 non-league loss to Forest (Forest, MS). The Bobcats record now stands at 11-5.
The Jaguars (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Eupora (Eupora, MS). The Eagles come into the 2A Region 4 contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Eupora was routed by Union (Union, MS), 49-39, in a league contest.
