Texas High School Basketball - Katy knocked off by Katy Taylor

The Katy Taylor Mustangs basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Katy Tigers to 55 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 23-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cinco Ranch for a 6A Region III District 19 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Katy Taylor will meet a Cougars team coming off a 81-59 league loss to Seven Lakes (Katy, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 13-7.
The Tigers (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Tompkins (Katy, TX). The Falcons enter the 6A Region III District 19 contest with a 18-4 record. In their last contest, Tompkins ran past Paetow (Katy, TX), 60-40, in a league contest.
