The Western Branch Bruins basketball team (Chesapeake, VA), was overwhelmed 53-30 in Friday's league battle with the host King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA)
The Bulldogs now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeland for a Southeastern battle on Friday, January 12. King's Fork will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 66-4 league loss to Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-8.
The Bruins (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage (Newport News, VA). The Hurricanes go into the Peninsula outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Heritage smashed Gloucester (Gloucester, VA), 43-34, in a league outing.
