North Carolina High School Basketball - KIPP Pride overwhelmed by Wilson Prep

The Wilson Prep Tigers basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host KIPP Pride Pride to 6 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weldon for a 1A Tar Roanoke contest on Tuesday, January 9. Wilson Prep will battle a Chargers team coming off a 54-32 non-league win over Tarboro (Tarboro, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 4-1.

The Pride (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC). The Jaguars come into the 1A Tar Roanoke contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Rocky Mount Prep was routed by Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC), 64-18, in a league contest.
