With the victory, Springlake-Earth upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Nazareth (Nazareth, TX) to play the Swifts in a 1A Region I District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Swifts come into the challenge with a record of 5-9.

Next up, the Kangaroos play the Lazbuddie Longhorns (Lazbuddie, TX) in a 1A Region I District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Kress will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 47-31 league loss to Happy (Happy, TX).
