Michigan High School Basketball - Lakeville overwhelmed by New Lothrop

The New Lothrop Hornets basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Lakeville Falcons to 36 in the Hornets league victory on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Byron for a Mid-Michigan contest on Tuesday, January 9. New Lothrop will battle a Eagles team coming off a 59-18 league loss to Chesaning (Chesaning, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.
The Falcons (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Durand (Durand, MI). The Railroaders come into the Mid-Michigan contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Durand was routed by Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI), 57-19, in a league contest.
