In Friday's league match, the visiting Lamar Raiders basketball team scored a good 39-25 triumph over the Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders.
In their next game, the Raiders meet the Wayne Academy Jaguars (Waynesboro, MS) in a MAIS 5A District 2 match, on Tuesday, January 9. Lamar will attempt to move on its 8-10 season record. The Jaguars enter the match with a 4-14 record after their 62-7 league loss to East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS).
