In Friday's league outing, the Lancaster County Christian Lions (Lancaster, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting Veritas Academy Monarch (Leola, PA), by a margin of 37-25.

The Lions (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Delaware County Christian (Newtown Square, PA). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Delaware County Christian was topped by Sun Valley (Aston, PA), 52-36, in a non-league outing.

The Monarch now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Harrisburg Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 11. Veritas Academy will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 45-20 non-league loss to New Covenant Christian (Lebanon, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-5.
