Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Leadore Mustangs (Leadore, ID) and the host Sho-Ban Chiefs (Fort Hall, ID), saw Leadore's basketball squad hold off Sho-Ban by a tally of 39-34.
The Mustangs now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Challis for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 6. Leadore will battle a Vikings team coming off a 63-6 league win over Alturas Prep (Idaho Falls, ID). The Vikings record now stands at 6-4.
The Chiefs (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Taylor's Crossing (Idaho Falls, ID). The Eagles come into the 1A II Rocky Mountain battle with a 6-6 record.
