Kentucky High School Basketball - Lewis County ripped by Russell

The Russell Red Devils basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Lewis County Lions to 28 in the Red Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Red Devils now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Russell will meet a Pandas team coming off a 62-52 non-league win over Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY). The Pandas record now stands at 10-2.

The Lions (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Greenup County (Greenup, KY). The Musketeers enter the District 63 contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Greenup County was routed by Chesapeake (Chesapeake, OH), 41-30, in a non-league contest.
