The Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX) basketball crushed the host Loop Longhorns (Loop, TX), 51-8 in Friday's league test.
The Mustangs (11-11) will now prepare for their test against Wellman-Union (Wellman, TX). The Wildcats go into the 1A Region I District 8 test with a 1-7 record.
The Longhorns now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Dawson for a 1A Region I District 8 test on Tuesday, January 9.
