Alabama High School Basketball - Marengo can't hold off University Charter

The University Charter Trail Blazers basketball team scored 28 points and held the visiting Marengo Panthers to 26 in the Trail Blazers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Trail Blazers now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johnson for a 1A Area 6 contest on Tuesday, January 9. University Charter will battle a Eagles team coming off a 75-29 non-league win over Sweet Water (Sweet Water, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.
The Panthers (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Millry (Millry, AL). The Wildcats enter the 1A Area 4 contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Millry was nudged by Sweet Water (Sweet Water, AL), 56-9, in a league contest.
