Tucker Tigers (Tucker, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host M.L. King Lions (Lithonia, GA), 60-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Tucker upgrades its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Lithonia (Lithonia, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a AAAAA Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 3-10. Lithonia lost 30-26 in their recent league bout against Decatur (Decatur, GA)

Next up, the Lions play the Lakeside Vikings (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. M.L. King will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 59-46 league loss to St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA).
