The Morrisania Lions basketball team scored 36 points and held the host Morris Bulldogs to 19 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archimedes for a PSAL AA Bronx contest on Tuesday, January 9. Morrisania will meet a team coming off a 49-33 league loss to Mott Haven (Bronx, NY). The record now stands at 4-2.
The Bulldogs (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mott Haven (Bronx, NY). The Mavericks enter the PSAL AA Bronx contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Mott Haven ran past Archimedes (Bronx, NY), 49-33, in a league contest.
