Connecticut High School Basketball - Shepaug Valley ripped by Nonnewaug

The Nonnewaug Chiefs basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Shepaug Valley Spartans to 22 in the Chiefs league triumph on Friday.
The Chiefs now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomaston for a Berkshire contest on Monday, January 8. Nonnewaug will meet a Bears squad coming off a 53-30 league win over Terryville (Terryville, CT). The Bears record now stands at 6-1.
Next up, the Spartans play the Gilbert Yellowjackets (Winsted, CT) in a Berkshire challenge, on Monday, January 8. Shepaug Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 48-45 league win over Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT).
