Texas High School Basketball - Paducah topped by Spur

The Spur Bulldogs basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the visiting Paducah Dragons to 26 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Guthrie for a 1A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Spur will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 40-28 league win over Patton Springs (Afton, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-10.
The Dragons (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Motley County (Matador, TX). The Matadors come into the 1A Region I District 5 contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Motley County was defeated by Jayton (Jayton, TX), 67-21, in a league contest.
