In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Robertson Cardinals basketball team scored a good 56-38 triumph over the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes.

In their next game, the Cardinals meet the Portales Rams (Portales, NM) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 6. Robertson will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 10-4 record after their 47-41 non-league win over Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM).
