The San Antonio Christian Lions basketball team scored 34 points and held the host St. Anthony Yellowjackets to 27 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host TMI-Episcopal for a TAPPS 5A District 4 contest on Tuesday, January 9. San Antonio Christian will battle a Panthers team coming off a 56-28 league loss to St. Joseph (Victoria, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-7.

The Yellowjackets (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph Academy (Brownsville, TX). The Bloodhounds enter the TAPPS 5A District 4 contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph Academy nudged Providence Catholic (San Antonio, TX), 63-8, in a league contest.
