Texas High School Basketball - Stratford winner over Sanford-Fritch

The Stratford Elks (Stratford, TX) basketball felled the visiting Sanford-Fritch Eagles (Fritch, TX), 42-24 in Friday's league test.

The Elks (12-6) will now prepare for their test against West Texas (Stinnett, TX). The Comanches go into the 2A Region I District 1 test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, West Texas was beaten by Gruver (Gruver, TX), 45-28, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 14-9 record. They play next when they host Sunray for a 2A Region I District 1 test on Tuesday, January 9. Sanford-Fritch will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 55-28 league win over Booker (Booker, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 14-10.
