North Carolina High School Basketball - Scotland thwarts Union Pines

January 5, 2024: Laurinburg, NC 28352

The Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC), 41-26 in Friday's league test.

The Fighting Scots (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Patriots go into the 3A/4A Sandhills test with a 3-8 record.

The Vikings now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Hoke County for a 3A/4A Sandhills test on Friday, January 12.
