South Hadley Tigers (South Hadley, MA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Wahconah Regional Warriors (Dalton, MA), 44-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, South Hadley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Quaboag Regional (Warren, MA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Warriors play the Taconic Thunder (Pittsfield, MA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Wahconah Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
