Georgia High School Basketball - Starr's Mill trounces Troup County

January 5, 2024: Fayetteville, GA 30215

The Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA), 43-21 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Lions go into the AAAA Region 4 test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Trinity Christian walloped Valor Christian (Alpharetta, GA), 68-59, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host North Clayton for a AAAA Region 4 test on Saturday, January 6. Troup County will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 55-12 league win over Riverdale (Riverdale, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-3.
