Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Morse Tigers (San Diego, CA) and the host Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots (San Diego, CA), saw Morse's basketball team trounce Academy of Our Lady of Peace by a tally of 56-24.

The Tigers now possess a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valhalla for a non-league battle on Monday, January 8. Morse will battle a Norsemen team coming off a 57-14 non-league loss to Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA). The Norsemen record now stands at 2-4.

The Pilots (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA). The Crusaders come into the non-league battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Mater Dei Catholic was overwhelmed by Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA), 60-12, in a non-league battle.
