The Johnson Atomsmashers basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Beach Bulldogs to 8 in the Atomsmashers league victory on Friday.
The Atomsmashers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridgeland-Hardeeville for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Johnson will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 28-8 non-league loss to May River (Bluffton, SC). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-2.
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Long County (Ludowici, GA). The Blue Tide come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
