The Purnell Swett Rams basketball team (Pembroke, NC), was nudged 27-25 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC)

The Colts now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jack Britt for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 16.

The Rams (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record.
