The Sheldon Huskies basketball team scored 35 points and held the host Elk Grove Thundering Herd to 15 in the Huskies league triumph on Friday.
The Huskies now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin for a contest on Monday, January 8. Sheldon will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 39-24 league win over Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-5.
The Thundering Herd (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Inderkum (Sacramento, CA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Inderkum ran past Roseville (Roseville, CA), 34-12, in a league contest.
