With the victory, George C. Marshall upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Statesmen host McLean (McLean, VA) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Highlanders come into the bout with a record of 4-2. McLean won 47-34 in their recent league bout against Herndon (Herndon, VA)

Next up, the Hornets play the Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Herndon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Generals come into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 48-28 non-league win over Wakefield School (The Plains, VA).
