Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), 17-16 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lancaster upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Northumberland (Heathsville, VA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Pointers play the Northumberland Indians (Heathsville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. West Point will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
