The Prosser Mustangs basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Othello Huskies to 31 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grandview for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Prosser will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 49-45 non-league win over Selah (Selah, WA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 1-0.
The Huskies (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ephrata (Ephrata, WA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Ephrata was defeated by Ellensburg (Ellensburg, WA), 49-8, in a non-league contest.
