In Friday's league challenge, the Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) ice hockey team bounced the visiting Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI), by a margin of 10-5.

The Patriots now possess a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smithfield for a State Championship Division challenge on Saturday, January 6. Pilgrim will clash with a Sentinels team coming off a 5-0 league win over North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Sentinels record now stands at 6-3.

The Clippers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Crusaders enter the State Championship Division challenge with a 11-0 record. In their last challenge, Prout tipped Moses Brown (Providence, RI), 5-1, in a league challenge.
